The Rigels Pathfinder Club Logo

Design Elements

The Rigels Pathfinder Club logo is a deeply symbolic and spiritually rich emblem, thoughtfully designed to reflect the mission, vision, and identity of the club. Every element draws from biblical references, Seventh-day Adventist identity, and values of spiritual leadership. Below is a detailed explanation of each component and its significance.

1. Seven Stars

Shield

Biblical Foundation: The inspiration for the seven stars comes from Revelation 1:20:
“The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches…” — Revelation 1:20 (NIV)

In this context, the seven stars represent the spiritual leaders (or messengers) of the seven churches in Asia Minor. These churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea are symbolic of the church throughout history and of the spiritual states God's people pass through.

Meaning in the Logo:
They symbolize the fullness of God's spiritual oversight, His divine authority, and the faithful leadership He appoints. Within The Rigels, these stars represent the directors, elders, and mentors who serve not merely as organizers, but as guiding young souls in the light of Christ’s calling and truth.

Why the stars?
“Rigel,” the name of our club, is the brightest star in the Orion constellation; an iconic symbol among Adventist believers of Christ’s soon return. The seven stars surrounding this identity affirm our mission: to live under divine leadership, shine with God’s truth, and march under the banner of heaven. Each star is a reminder that every Pathfinder is a light called to lead, serve, and reflect God’s glory.

2. Three Angels Flying Around the Globe

Shield

Biblical Foundation: Revelation 14:6-12 "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel..."

Representation: The Three Angels’ Messages stand at the heart of the Seventh-day Adventist movement. A divine proclamation sent from heaven to prepare the world for Christ’s return. These messages, carried by angelic voices across the skies of Revelation 14, call all humanity to:

  • Worship the Creator: to return to true reverence for the One who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them.
  • Come out of Babylon: to flee the confusion and deception of false systems of worship, and to stand on the foundation of God’s eternal truth.
  • Remain faithful: to keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus, even amid trial, temptation, and the final crisis.
  • Meaning in the Logo:
The angels are shown in motion, soaring with purpose, representing the urgency, movement, and global reach of their message. Positioned around the golden Bible and the red circle, they reflect how the eternal Word of God is at the center of their mission. They surround the globe, showing that this is a worldwide call, reaching every corner of the earth.

    Symbolism:
Incorporating the three angels into our logo is a declaration of mission that The Rigels Pathfinder Club is not only a youth group, but a movement anchored in prophecy, fueled by the gospel, and committed to preparing young people for the soon return of Christ.

    3. The Globe

    Shield
  • Representation: The earth as a whole, encompassing all nations, tribes, and peoples.
  • Meaning in the Logo: The globe beneath the angels represents the worldwide mission of the Pathfinder Club and the Adventist Church. It reminds us that our service and influence go beyond our local territory. The orientation of the globe subtly highlights the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), where Christ commands us to “go into all the world.”

  • 4. The Golden Bible

    Shield

The golden Bible symbolizes the Word of God as the final authority, truth, and light in a dark world (Psalm 119:105). Gold signifies divine value, purity, and unchanging truth.

Its placement between the three angels affirms that their message is rooted in Scripture. By mounting it on the red circle, it shows that this mission is not passive; it is urgent, bold, and demands action, just like the crimson-red hue symbolizes sacrifice, passion, and alertness.

    Representation:
The Bible is the foundation of truth and spiritual authority.

    Why it's Golden:
Gold symbolizes value, purity, and holiness. The golden color shows that the Word of God is precious and enduring.

    Why Placed at the Center:
It is the centerpiece of the logo, placed between the three angels and on top of the red circle, representing that all our mission, leadership, and messages are grounded on the Bible.

Why It’s Mounted on the Red Circle:
The red circle symbolize the blood of Jesus, sacrifice, and covenant, reminding us that the Bible tells the story of salvation through Christ's blood.

The Red Circle (Mount for the Bible)
The red circle behind the Bible signifies:

  • Alertness and urgency of the three angels’ message.
  • The eternal covenant sealed with Christ’s blood.
  • A central spotlight, drawing focus to the Word of God as the core of everything the Pathfinder Club stands for.
  • Its circular shape reflects completeness, unity, and continuity of God’s message through the ages.
